Permanent jobs

One of the main attractions of a government job is that it is considered permanent , once you are confirmed and you draw a salary for the rest of your life.

Though the salary and growth opportunities for this job are less and the work is often monotonous in nature, many people prefer these jobs due to the security they offer. In some countries, influence is needed or bribes have to be paid to get these jobs.

Fake employee numbers

Most software companies are service providers and some of them have inflated the number of employees on their payroll.  The salaries paid to these non existent employees are then siphoned off by the promoters for their personal activities and interests.  In the short term it works, in the long term the companies do not exist.

Job security

Most students in school and college aspire to get a “good” job in a reputed company.  However, the reputation of the company as they know, is largely the work of PR agencies.  Only when they start working in the company, they know whether it deserves its reputation or it is a pack of cards which can collapse any time.
